You’re going to love these budget-friendly DIY items from Dollar Tree finds! I was absolutely thrilled with how these projects turned out.
I picked up a few packs of mini flags from Dollar Tree, knowing they would be perfect for decorating my home and for a variety of DIY projects.

First, I used scissors to carefully cut and remove the flag from its plastic pole.

I had an oval wooden embroidery hoop in my stash that I had been eager to use, and this project seemed like the perfect opportunity!
First, I checked to make sure the flag would fit within the size of the wooden hoop. Luckily, it did!

Next, I pulled the two pieces of the embroidery hoop apart.

I set the top piece aside and laid the bottom piece onto my workspace table.

Then, I laid the flag over the bottom piece of the wooden hoop.

Next, I placed the top piece of the wooden hoop over the flag, lining it up with the bottom piece.

Make sure the lines of the flag are straight while you do this to ensure the stars and stripes are positioned correctly.

And once the hoop was attached, I used scissors to trim off the excess fabric.

& that’s it! How cute is that?
I tied a piece of white ribbon around the top of the hoop to hang this in my home.
