For this project, I grabbed cone shapped floral foam from the Dollar Tree and green yarn that I found at the Goodwill bins.

First, I hot glued a piece of the green yarn towards to bottom of the cone.

Then I started wrapping the yarn all the way around the foam. I was not thinking baout it too much or worried about it being perfect.

All I did was wrap the yarn all the way around the cone until the entire thing was covered.

Once the entire cone was covered, I grabbed my hot glue gun and added some to the top of the cone.

Then, I used a little bit more green yarn to cover the top.

I used a larger tartlet tin to make the base of my ‘Christmas Tree’.

To attach the green yarn tree and the tartlet tin I added hot glue to the bottom of the cone.

Then I pressed the bottom of the tree into the tartlet tin.

I could have stopped there because the tree looks great. However, I found this star shaped cookie cutter in my stash and knew it would be perfect on the top of my tree.

Using the hot glue gun, I put a dab of glue on the top of the tree and then pressed it firmly to the top.

And that’s it! How cute is this little Christmas tree?
